A country in crisis, and all we can do is sign petitions?!

Dear Leaders,

The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) protects us all, and especially those most vulnerable and already facing discrimination.

Leaving the ECHR would be a dream for the millionaires and billionaires who want to exploit the people of the UK and its resources further without protections in the way.

The right wing want people to believe the ECHR is holding our country back, or handing power to others, but it’s actually of crucial importance to our individual freedoms and safety. Including keeping us safe from our own government if they turn against the people (which they are).

These human rights –enshrined in law– affect everyone, including you, not just the people the right wing are scapegoating about causing the problems – which the right wing themselves are creating.

We demand that there be no attempt to leave this important agreement.
