Change is easier than you think, and it starts with a simple idea, and a plan
A NEW movement taking Tactical Voting mainstream to beat the Conservatives, and to put Proportional Representation on the agenda of a new government.
TheMovementForward.com offers a single, simple, action that we can all take together at the next general election to achieve the changes our country needs to thrive.
If you’re angry about something this government has done, to you, your family, your community, or the country… this is the action to take.
So what’s the plan?
1. Tactical Voting at an industrial scale, as the universal action in every constituency.
2. Demand Proportional Representation from a new government.
Tactical Voting at scale
Tactical voting is simply voting for the candidate most likely to beat the Conservative in your constituency at the next election, whichever party they’re from.

In almost every election more people vote for opposition parties, we just need to use those votes smartly and turn them into a win. If tactical voting happens at scale we could swing roughly 125 seats away from the Conservatives to opposition parties.
This would end up with Labour and the Liberal Democrats both having more MPs elected, likely forced to form a coalition, and the Green Party being influential in return for it’s role in installing the new government.
As well as this campaign, there are several tactical voting websites that will have the information you need. We’ll be publishing a lot more about how this information is gathered and presented between now and the election.
All you need to do before you go to vote on election day is search for who the tactical vote is for in your constituency.
We need Proportional Representation
While a change of government alone would be a win for everyone, a win needs to be for something too. Not just a protest against something.
A new government winning simply because they’re not the Conservatives isn’t a strong mandate. But winning because a nation showed up for change cannot be ignored.
Starting now, we need to make sure a new government knows we’re all showing up because we expect them to make the bold changes our country needs.
Starting with Proportional Representation, which changes the way we elect our MPs so that in future elections all votes count towards who gets elected, not just the votes for the candidates who would have won under the current system.
This results in a government being much more representative of who we are as a country. And representative of our needs and desires for society. It gives our causes and communities a proper seat at the table. And we can start demonstrating our support for the changes we need throughout our campaigning.
We’ll be fighting for these bold ideas, and we believe a government that’s serious about the future will implement Proportional Representation to give us the best chance of making them happen.
- Upgrade our democracy
- End the corruption
- Protect and improve our public services
- Start a green economic revolution
- A brand new social contract
It all starts with Proportional Representation, and that starts with Tactical Voting for a new government.
We can set the agenda and own the future.
Wouldn’t it be better if the opposition parties worked together to win the next general election?
Of course, and we welcome it! But what if they don’t?
Tactical voting takes it into our own hands instead of crossing our fingers. But it is also the same action on election day whether there’s a level of co-operation between the opposition parties or not: voting for the candidate that has the best chance of winning, whether who that is has been coordinated or not.
Either way, we need to be prepared and rally our numbers to show up. There’s a lot on the line, it could be the most important election for generations.
Join the movement and commit to showing up to vote tactically.
Decide to take this action and help spread the word. We’ll make sure you’re ready, and we’ll give you news and tools along the way to grow the movement.

Going Local
We’re building a team in every constituency in the country, be part of an unbeatable operation on the ground in your area by volunteering when you join.
Funding
The primary call to action, and reason for this campaign existing, is to get us all voting for the most likely winning candidates in our areas, not to endlessly request donations.
But we know that to be successful, this can’t be a weekend voluntary project. Not if we’re going to win a crucial election that will have millions being spent on it by the Conservatives.
We need skills in house for roles like content production, community management, data analysis, and more.
So we ask you to join us first, but if you want to contribute too, you can support the movement from just £1 a month.
If you can fund the movement at scale get in touch with the team directly.
